This year's publication will reinstate statistics on working days lost and costs to Britain following their absence from last year's annual statistical release.
The release will be on Wednesday 23rd November 2022, at 09:30.
There will again be no violence statistics from the England and Wales Crime survey and there will be no enforcement statistics. Estimates of work-related ill-health attributed to the coronavirus pandemic and work-related COVID-19 attributed directly to exposures at work will be available again for a further year. The release will include revisions to statistics on work-related non-fatal injuries to employees reported under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) due to improvements in processing and exclusion of injuries arising offshore or on railways that are published elsewhere. Revisions will go back to 2012/13 and will be explained fully on the HSE statistics website. However, they are not expected to meaningfully impact interpretation of these data.
