Course Details

Overview of the CITB HSA Course The CITB Health and Safety Awareness (HSA) Green Labourer Card CSCS course is for those who have entered, or are about to enter, the construction and civil engineering industry as a member of the workforce to help them understand the potential hazards that they face at work on site. Assessment Assessment will be by multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. Learners are also expected to actively participate during the course. The examination paper consists of 25 multiple-choice questions selected by CITB, 20 questions are worth one mark each and 5 are worth two marks each. The examination pass mark is 83% (25 out of 30). Length of Course This is a one-day course. Delegates are required to complete the full day (7.5 hours) to be eligible for certification. The HSA course in Stoke on Trent is the first step towards a CSCS Labourers Card (Green Card) and to the progressive CITB Site Safety Plus courses. Our courses range from operative training, Supervisor, Site Manager and Director Health and Safety courses. Successful completion of CITB Site Safety Plus (Health and Safety Awareness Level 1) course can be used as a prerequisite for the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB): Operative, health, safety and environment touch screen test, or just as repeat refresher training.
