Aims This basic life support training course aims to help teach staff a basic knowledge of first aid – covering CPR, recovery position, choking and shock it will allow staff to confidently respond to minor accidents and incidents within the work place – for more in depth training sessions please see our fully Qualsafe accredited first aid training courses. This basic life support training course meets all the requirements to fully sign off standard 12 of the care certificate. Basic Life Support Training Course Summary: • Recovery position • Shock • CPR Demonstration and practice D.R.S.A.B.C. • Unconsciousness/head injuries • Choking – responding effectively and practical demonstration
